Secretly Healthy Chocolate Pecan Pie

Indulge in the rich and decadent flavors of chocolate and pecans with this secretly healthy chocolate pecan pie. It's easy to make, vegan, gluten-free, and a perfect guilt-free dessert option for any occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw pecans

  • 1 cup rolled oats gluten-free if needed

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips optional

  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans for topping optional

Instructions:

Grease a 9-inch pie dish and preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius


The raw pecans, rolled oats, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and salt should all be combined in a food processor


Blend the mixture until it's well combined and smooth


Add the dairy-free chocolate chips and stir, if desired


Transfer the mixture into the pie dish that has been preheated and level it out


For some extra crunch and flavor, sprinkle the chopped pecans on top


A toothpick inserted into the center of the pie should come out clean after 25 to 30 minutes of baking in a preheated oven


Let the pie cool down before cutting into slices and serving


Cooling will cause it to solidify
